Kevadel 2015, kui iga päev tulid uudised sõdadest Ukrainas ja Süürias, vaatasin neid uudiseid liiga palju. Avasin mitu korda päevas arvuti ja lugesin järjekordsetest hukkunutest...
Ma ei tahtnud teha tööd sõjast, kuid lõpuks ei saanud teisiti. Liimisin kividest kokku tükid, mis meenutavad purustatud inimkeha. Katkisse nutitelefoni jäi mängima youtube-st leitud video, vist kõige õõvastavam, mida näinud olen. Mul on kahju, et pidin selle töö tegema.
In the spring of 2015, when every day there were news from the wars in Ukraine and Syria, I overconsumed those news. I opened my computer many times during the day and read about more and more war victims...
I didn’t want to make a work of art about the war, but I was forced to do it at the end. I glued together stones, to make pieces that remind shattered human body. In the broken smartphone there played the video, which I found from the Youtube and which was most horrible video I’ve ever seen, I think. I feel sad that I had to do this work of art.
