Töö nimeks sai "Kapsast partidele!" ja avamisel toimunud performance'i käigus, puistasin linde toitvat inimest kujutava skulptuuri ümbrusse peeneks hakitud kapsast.

I was invited to participate at the ice sculptures exhibition. I decided to try to find the topic of my work from the place, where the exhibition will take place. It was park Shnell next to the Tallinn Baltic Railway Station. I was looking around in the park and the main thing I noticed was a flocks of ducks and people who where feeding them with a white bread. I sculpted a figure of a woman out of the ice block, who feeds ducks and because the white bread is actually not good for duck’s stomach, I decided to use this sculpture for promoting a better menu for the ducks, which animal lovers recommend. I named this ice sculpture „Cabbage to the ducks“ and in the opening performance I chopped cabbage around the sculpture.
The sculpture was popular and people liked it. But the second goal was unachieved. Ducks did’t care about the cabbage, which I chopped and people carried on feeding them with white bread. Quite soon the weather was warming up, the sculpture was melting away and soon it was pushed into the pond.
